To all clients of The Blueprinter,

As you all know by now, The Art Colony and The Blueprinter has ceased offering reprographic services. We have turned to our Art Supplies Department and expanded the lines and services offered by The Art Colony and ended the operations on the copy/print/plot side, The Blueprinter. The economy has had a great impact on the customers that utilize our reprographic services and we have found that our expenses have far outpaced our revenues in the reprographics department.

For those of you who have been loyal customers and friends for parts of the 30 years we have been doing your printing, copying and plotting, we again thank you for your many years of loyalty and support and hope those friendships continue.

We have recently become aware of a new company in the Coachella Valley, PlanIt Reprographics. PlanIt is run by one of our long-time reprographics customers, Chris Miller and Chief of Operations Craig Henson, formerly of All Valley. They have recently opened near Del Webb Sun City with a state-of-the-art facility and welcome your visit and/or questions. They can be reached at (760) 345-2500. We are also pleased to let our former customers know that Diana Adams, the Blueprinter's longtime counter manager has been brought aboard at PlanIt Reprographics. The unmatched customer service that she provided our customers for over 10 years will add much to the operations of PlanIt Reprographics.

The services we are discontinuing include plotting, copying, color printing and scanning. We will remain a full service Art Materials Retailer. Under the banner of the Art Colony, we will continue to sell an expanding line of professional and student supplies for the fine art, graphic art and hobby artist. For those of you in the architectural and engineering community, we will continue to carry drafting supplies and a selection of plotting and drafting papers to meet your needs.

With an end of one phase of our company comes the expansion and revitalization of the other part. What we are most excited about is the conversion of what was the print room into a studio/classroom. We plan on holding events, demos, classes, exhibits and anything else we can think of to support and enhance the growing artists' community here in the Coachella Valley. We are looking for teachers and students alike to utilize our new facility for their classes and other events. Please contact us with your suggestions and interest.

Sincerely,

Mark S. Wiener, President
